Alain Marcilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ibon Santander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santana Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibon Santander having to interfere. Juan-Francisco Gabas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Carceles in the 15th minute of the match. Hostalric AFC's Antonio Guijarro got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Francisco Gabas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 27 minutes, Bertran Vuelta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sestao and the Hostalric AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sestao getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Carceles was the one to do the kick off. Ibon Santander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan-Francisco Gabas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Barbosa in the 78th minute of play. Hostalric AFC's Juan-Francisco Gabas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herberto Azofra in the 82nd minute of play. Teobaldo Carceles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hostalric AFC's Juan-Francisco Gabas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Barbosa in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sestao's zone, Santana Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibon Santander came out of the goal and Santana Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alain Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibon Santander having to interfere. Alain Marcilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hostalric AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
