Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Virgilio Casillas got the match started through his kick off. Edgard Redondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anchel Llinares having to interfere. In the 8th minute Virgilio Casillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordarell Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Sant Medir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Rallo to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Raymundo Dulce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marquesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sant Medir the free kick. After 13 minutes of play, Sant Medir's Gaizka Ricoy made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anchel Llinares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raymundo Dulce got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Marquesa's Raymundo Dulce got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26th match minute, Sant Medir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remir Bodelon to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Marquesa got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Verdu. Gaizka Ricoy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Anchel Llinares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andrea Sampil kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Edgard Redondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aire Quintero came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Marquesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aire Quintero couldn't finish the play. Cordarell Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aire Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marquesa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Anchel Llinares went to the wrong direction when Eneko Villanueva was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Redondo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Redondo in the 51st minute of play forced Marquesa's goalkeeper Anchel Llinares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aire Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Medir's zone, Virgilio Casillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordarell Bueno came out of the goal and Virgilio Casillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sant Medir getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eneko Villanueva hit a great ball. Gaizka Ricoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anchel Llinares having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Aire Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marquesa's Anchel Llinares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remir Bodelon in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Marquesa booed when Sant Medir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Jauregui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquesa's Benjamin Verdu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Aire Quintero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquesa's supporters rose to their feet, but Aire Quintero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cordarell Bueno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 90 in the game by Aire Quintero from a close distance when the talented Cordarell Bueno managed to make a qualified save. Sant Medir's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Rallo during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sant Medir getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Angel Rallo hit a great ball. Sant Medir were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marquesa for a fine match.
