Xelo Nunez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tulio Benedicto went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Moisés Alcalde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xelo Nunez having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Orlando Morado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Morado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Porfiro Uria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play.
