Toño Mayol ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejandro Roman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felip Prats in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Mirarrosa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josepe Cambero to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mirarrosa AD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gorri Ucero hit a great ball. If Juan-Carlos Olano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Alejandro Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolino Abellan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. El Bojar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felip Prats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Dabi Jimenez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Tolino Abellan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Bojar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mirarrosa AD the free kick.
