Baudilio Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan-Carlos Olano's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Gorri Ucero hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tonete Casillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alejandro Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcadio Obis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Alejandro Roman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 23 minutes El Manantial's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bautista Herrera who took care of the corner kick. Bautista Herrera made a great header on Mirarrosa AD's corner, it was just that El Manantial's Baudilio Rey managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25thth minute of the game Toño Mayol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Manantial's Baudilio Rey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes El Manantial got a freekick which was hit by Roger Zubiaga. Ilixo Saura kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alcadio Obis managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Manantial's supporters rose to their feet, but Alcadio Obis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Nafría kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Toño Mayol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baudilio Rey having to make a save. Baudilio Rey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan-Carlos Olano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Toño Mayol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baudilio Rey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Mirarrosa AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Roman should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Mirarrosa AD's zone, Alcadio Obis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Roman came out of the goal and Alcadio Obis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Luis Japón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcadio Obis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toño Mayol in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baudilio Rey saved El Manantial from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mirarrosa AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Manantial.
