Gaspar Pareja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Unzueta, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Heli Veloso hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, El Batán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelmiro Casas to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, El Batán FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Pareja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ximun Cabada. Mario Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelmiro Casas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gelmiro Casas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mario Aguilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, El Batán FC's Gelmiro Casas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Aguilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th match minute, Benirredrá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frutos Litago to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Zosimo Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zosimo Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the El Batán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zosimo Aznar couldn't finish the play. When El Batán FC's Zosimo Aznar in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. 53 minutes into the match, Bernard Unzueta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Pareja. El Batán FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Unzueta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 72nd minute of the match Jose-Luis Font sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Pareja skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Benirredrá FC's goalkeeper Mario Aguilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zosimo Aznar. El Batán FC's Gaspar Pareja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Unzueta in the 79th minute of play. Adalberto Otero hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Bernard Unzueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Ximun Cabada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When El Batán FC's Gelmiro Casas in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benirredrá FC's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
