Tomás Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Gandia in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Cayuela to make the kick off. The supporters of Alguazas FC booed when Belvis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loren Cabrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Armando Cayuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austin Pais might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordi Beloki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Austin Pais ran back to his position shaking his head. Bahiano Diaz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jordi Beloki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alguazas FC. In the 93rd minute, Armando Cayuela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordi Beloki was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Alguazas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
