Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Froilan Nafría took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dénia's Juan Obis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Nafría in the 4th minute of play. Tino Rapado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argenis Ferrer's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. If Xandro Losada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Dénia got a freekick which was hit by Zoilo Figueres. Cabanyes's Froilan Nafría got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xandro Losada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Obis having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Calvet Pascual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cai Feria took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tino Rapado. Tino Rapado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Munio Labarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabanyes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Munio Labarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Dénia's goalkeeper Juan Obis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xandro Losada. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Juan Obis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Munio Labarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Juan Obis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Nafría fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Obis having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Argenis Ferrer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cai Feria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argenis Ferrer in the 54th minute of play forced Cabanyes's goalkeeper Tino Rapado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Cabanyes's goal looked a bit too open when Argenis Ferrer came free, but Tino Rapado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Argenis Ferrer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tino Rapado. Argenis Ferrer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Tino Rapado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cai Feria in the 66th minute. Cai Feria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Tino Rapado made a huge save. Froilan Nafría received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Juan Obis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cai Feria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tino Rapado having to interfere. A collision led to Dénia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Federico Sabina hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Argenis Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tino Rapado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dénia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
