The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Urbieta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Froilan De la Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Froilan De la Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abel Urbieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jubalcoy booed when El Campillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Jubalcoy's Xurde Ocaña got a free kick in the 26th minute. Reimundo Bargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Urbieta having to interfere. After some careless play in the El Campillo AFC defense, Xurde Ocaña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richie Verges. The El Campillo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richie Verges should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Jubalcoy's Meder Belalcaraz got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jubalcoy's zone, Froilan De la Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Urbieta came out of the goal and Froilan De la Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nabucodonosor Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Campillo AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lucila Cambero hit a great ball. Jubalcoy's Xurde Ocaña got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Xurde Ocaña came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Jubalcoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurde Ocaña couldn't finish the play. Nabucodonosor Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Richie Verges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richie Verges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurde Ocaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Nabucodonosor Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Richie Verges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Jubalcoy were the better team. Jubalcoy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
