The supporters of Altet booed when Fernancaballero SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Comas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Guerrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Valcarcel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvano Guerrero ran back to his position shaking his head. Altet's Nereo Valcarcel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Guerrero in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Fernancaballero SD's Silvano Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Valcarcel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fernancaballero SD's David Mera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirce Tarin in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Fernancaballero SD's goal looked a bit too open when Quirce Tarin came free, but David Mera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Quirce Tarin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of David Mera, passed just outside the right post. In the 43rd minute, one of Fernancaballero SD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fernancaballero SD. Lico Ladra shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, Fernancaballero SD's Alvino Valdivia got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Fernancaballero SD's David Mera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirce Tarin in the 60th minute of play. The referee showed Odon Arraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fernancaballero SD getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Odon Arraz hit a great ball. David Mera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Cabezas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Quirce Tarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mera having to interfere. If Silvano Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Odon Arraz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th match minute, Fernancaballero SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odon Arraz to maneuver through the defense. Quirce Tarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mera having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fernancaballero SD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
