The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. El Plantio FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enaut Cordoba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Elvio Tarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haritz Ziguenza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Ramirez in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of El Plantio FC booed when Els Orriols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Barroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Cuevas in the 17th minute of the match. Delmiro Adán kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Domenech Aceves, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 34 minutes, Elvio Tarin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Els Orriols and the El Plantio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Els Orriols got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Tarin. After some careless play in the Els Orriols defense, Conrado Cuevas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Barroso. The Els Orriols fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Barroso should have stopped the shot. Conrado Cuevas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barroso having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, El Plantio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Gala to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, David Barroso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th minute of the match Domenech Aceves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haritz Ziguenza skillfully saved the ball. David Barroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musko Zabalo in the 57th minute of play. David Barroso was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Conrado Cuevas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrado Cuevas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Musko Zabalo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musko Zabalo in the 84th minute of play forced Els Orriols's goalkeeper David Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enaut Cordoba in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haritz Ziguenza saved El Plantio FC from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Plantio FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
