Cebo Llinares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Bouzon having to interfere. Archibaldo Mas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When El Rosario's Abelardo Canal, in the 22nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for El Rosario. El Rosario's Luis-Javier Rossello got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luis-Javier Rossello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cebo Llinares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Bouzon having to interfere. Cebo Llinares scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Bouzon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mutxamel booed when El Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Javier Rossello didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Luis-Javier Rossello made the kick off in the second half. Ceferino Casals sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to El Rosario getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Arnaldo Durango hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Casals in the 71st minute of play forced El Rosario's goalkeeper Prudencio Bouzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cebo Llinares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Prudencio Bouzon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Prudencio Bouzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Casals in the 76th minute of the match. If Luis-Javier Rossello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cebo Llinares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Bouzon having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Rosario had won after a very even match.
