An unexpectedly hard shot by Alatz Quintanilla in the 3rd minute of play forced El Aguila AFC's goalkeeper Jakes Mezquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xosepe Llorente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Koldo Redondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes El Grau AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mancio Macia. Bonifacio Bueno scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakes Mezquita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jorge Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, El Aguila AFC's Xosepe Llorente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Koldo Redondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 46th minute, Jorge Barba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jakes Mezquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 54 minutes of play, El Grau AFC's Bonifacio Bueno made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jakes Mezquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bonifacio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jakes Mezquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bonifacio Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jorge Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the El Grau AFC defense, Xosepe Llorente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Koldo Redondo. The El Grau AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Koldo Redondo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of El Aguila AFC booed when El Grau AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xoan Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koldo Redondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mero Jaen in the 102nd minute of play. The El Grau AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented El Aguila AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
