The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sol Galego was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Urdazubi Urdax AFC's zone, Sol Galego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bienvenido Ponce came out of the goal and Sol Galego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Retiro AFC's Sol Galego slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bienvenido Ponce. That made the score 0-1 after 60 minutes of play. 72 minutes into the match, Carmelo Olmos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bienvenido Ponce, 0-3. Bienvenido Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sol Galego, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Urdazubi Urdax AFC's Blasco Feliu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Etxeberria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Urdazubi Urdax AFC's Bienvenido Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sol Galego in the 89th minute of play. Retiro AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
