Alifonso Litago's late challenge caught a Cortijillos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alifonso Litago helped the player get up and apologised. Alifonso Litago hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Cortijillos AFC's Paquito Patiño couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aretxabaleta FC. After a rather tough play, Aretxabaleta FC's Geofredo Tarin got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 14 played minutes Aretxabaleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Tarin. Raymundo Zaplana hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Aretxabaleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Sanz came free, but Urbes Maestro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luis Sanz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vincente Vallejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Urbes Maestro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lazaro Fernandez got free with Benjamin Sans in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geofredo Tarin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Vincente Vallejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbes Maestro having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Aretxabaleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Tobias. Paquito Patiño took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urbes Maestro. Aretxabaleta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincente Vallejo to make the kick off. Benjamin Sans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaro Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Indar Dean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortijillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aretxabaleta FC the free kick. Indar Dean hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Aretxabaleta FC's Alano Orbiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lazaro Fernandez in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Sans saved Cortijillos AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Lazaro Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aretxabaleta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazaro Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Sans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Cortijillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Beti Figueres. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Aretxabaleta FC's Gregorio Marrero fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincente Vallejo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbes Maestro saved Aretxabaleta FC from getting behind. Urbes Maestro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincente Vallejo in the 77th minute of the match. Urbes Maestro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Luis Sanz sent off a good shot on target. Geofredo Tarin charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geofredo Tarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aretxabaleta FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Geofredo Tarin hit a great ball. If Vincente Vallejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Aretxabaleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Ferrer. 88 minutes into the match, Aretxabaleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincente Vallejo came free, but Urbes Maestro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincente Vallejo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbes Maestro having to make a save. After 95 played minutes Vincente Vallejo rounded Aretxabaleta FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cortijillos AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
