Cresenciano Gimeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Toño Odín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Natalio Paz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Valerin AFC and the Villanueva De Cauche FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Villanueva De Cauche FC booed when El Valerin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toño Odín showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresenciano Gimeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, El Valerin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Torrente to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jeremias Jaraba could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Gudesteo Ibanez however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Remir Lillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gudesteo Ibanez was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Remir Lillo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Villanueva De Cauche FC's Gudesteo Ibanez. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gudesteo Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Jaraba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villanueva De Cauche FC's Gudesteo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remir Lillo in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remir Lillo in the 59th minute of play forced Villanueva De Cauche FC's goalkeeper Gudesteo Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gudesteo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remir Lillo in the 61st minute of play. After 62 played minutes Villanueva De Cauche FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Bartumeu. Cresenciano Gimeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toño Odín having to interfere. A collision led to El Valerin AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Natalio Paz hit a great ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villanueva De Cauche FC's goalkeeper Gudesteo Ibanez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Villanueva De Cauche FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Jaraba came free, but Gudesteo Ibanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Remir Lillo made a precise shot to the right of Gudesteo Ibanez. Villanueva De Cauche FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
