The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Rolando Mendez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ibarrola AFC's Valentín Canal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Ibarrola AFC defense, Benjamin Saez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentín Canal. The Ibarrola AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentín Canal should have stopped the shot. Urko Zapater's late challenge caught a Jabalcuz AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urko Zapater helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Ibarrola AFC got a freekick which was hit by Quique Espinosa. After having played for 20 minutes, Araoz Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jabalcuz AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Araoz Abancens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermenegildo Cortes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elivareo Clos firmly grabbed it by the left post. 22 minutes into the game, Hermenegildo Cortes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elivareo Clos. Hermenegildo Cortes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Elivareo Clos made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Hermenegildo Cortes sent off a good shot on target. During the 33rd minute of the match Urko Zapater completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Urko Zapater a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermelando Jaraba during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ibarrola AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hermelando Jaraba hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Jabalcuz AFC's Araoz Abancens tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Hermenegildo Cortes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibarrola AFC's Valentín Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Saez in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ibarrola AFC's Inge Mendez got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Xavian Leon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The wind increased when Rolando Mendez made the kick off in the second half. Valentín Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Elivareo Clos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Cortes in the 57th minute of play. Ibarrola AFC's Valentín Canal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ibarrola AFC from getting a goal against them. During the 63rd minute of the match Inge Mendez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Inge Mendez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 64th minute, Inge Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Rolando Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentín Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Valentín Canal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Saez in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valentín Canal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Romulo Santos fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibarrola AFC's protests and gave Romulo Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ibarrola AFC's Romulo Santos got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Rolando Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentín Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Hermelando Jaraba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elivareo Clos. Jabalcuz AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermelando Jaraba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermelando Jaraba in the 86th minute of play forced Jabalcuz AFC's goalkeeper Elivareo Clos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibarrola AFC's Valentín Canal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ibarrola AFC from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Saez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Jabalcuz AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ibarrola AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
