Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ibarrola AFC's Hermelando Jaraba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frechoso Merino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Hermelando Jaraba, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 9 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gaizkine Lorenzo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vergaray Sarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frechoso Merino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Valentín Canal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frechoso Merino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vergaray Sarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Olot getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lancelot De Toro hit a great ball. Marco Rey made a great header on Ibarrola AFC's corner, it was just that Olot's Gaizkine Lorenzo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 31 minutes, Gitano Sirvent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olot and the Ibarrola AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Olot getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gitano Sirvent hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ibarrola AFC's Marco Rey broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gaizkine Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Cortes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Frechoso Merino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentín Canal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frechoso Merino was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Ibarrola AFC's goalkeeper Valentín Canal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vergaray Sarro. Frechoso Merino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Valentín Canal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Frechoso Merino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentín Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frechoso Merino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermelando Jaraba took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaizkine Lorenzo. Gaizkine Lorenzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 67 minutes into the game, Olot's Vergaray Sarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentín Canal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Lancelot De Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Ibarrola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frechoso Merino came free, but Valentín Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentín Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frechoso Merino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Ibarrola AFC's Hermelando Jaraba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaizkine Lorenzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaizkine Lorenzo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibarrola AFC's Hermenegildo Cortes. But to his dismay, Hermenegildo Cortes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Ibarrola AFC's zone, Vergaray Sarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentín Canal came out of the goal and Vergaray Sarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olot's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
