Saturnino Sampil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ereinotz Acedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fausto Albizua fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Vendrell's protests and gave Fausto Albizua a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aeropuerto De Zaragoza booed when El Vendrell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Albizua didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to El Vendrell getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Oscar Astudillo hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, El Vendrell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Aizpurua to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Leal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Piorno Astudillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Piorno Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Leal went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Pere Prats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Aeropuerto De Zaragoza's Lekumberri Camacho got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Piorno Astudillo. When Ereinotz Acedo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the El Vendrell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ereinotz Acedo couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Aeropuerto De Zaragoza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casildo Ramiréz to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Aeropuerto De Zaragoza's Damaso Leal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Piorno Astudillo. Piorno Astudillo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Aeropuerto De Zaragoza's zone, Pere Prats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Sampil came out of the goal and Pere Prats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garaona Zapater to strike the kick off in the second half. Aeropuerto De Zaragoza were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after El Vendrell's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lekumberri Camacho took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Lekumberri Ribeiro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 55th minute, Macerio Martin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piorno Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 60th match minute, El Vendrell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Aeropuerto De Zaragoza's Lekumberri Camacho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Damaso Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Piorno Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ereinotz Acedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Sampil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Garaona Zapater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piorno Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garaona Zapater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Piorno Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes El Vendrell got a freekick which was hit by Tello Montaña. After a rather tough play, El Vendrell's Isaias Toledo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Garaona Zapater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pere Prats came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the El Vendrell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pere Prats couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the El Vendrell players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aeropuerto De Zaragoza.
