Cirilo Verdeja struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Cesaro Planes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tibidabo. When Caetano Bencoiechea fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tibidabo's protests and gave Caetano Bencoiechea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tibidabo's Caetano Bencoiechea got a free kick in the 11th minute. Cesaro Planes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresitobalo Tormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Celio Mera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tibidabo's Illan Alacuart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, Santi De Paula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tibidabo and the Llíber FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute of the match Aarón Jauregui shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Illan Alacuart showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Llíber FC's Cesaro Planes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cresitobalo Tormes in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cresitobalo Tormes in the 23rd minute of play forced Llíber FC's goalkeeper Cesaro Planes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 24th minute of the match Caetano Bencoiechea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Caetano Bencoiechea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Illan Alacuart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santana Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Celio Mera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Illan Alacuart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llíber FC's Santana Torrente got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Celio Mera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illan Alacuart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Tibidabo's goal looked a bit too open when Celio Mera came free, but Illan Alacuart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Santana Torrente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Illan Alacuart having to interfere. If Santana Torrente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celio Mera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Illan Alacuart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Celio Mera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Illan Alacuart made a huge save. With his leg Illan Alacuart managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Llíber FC's Celio Mera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an outstanding, beautiful run, Eskuin Pacheco came in a good position to score and shot 0-2 in the 81st minute, with a ball that touched the crossbar and continued down into the goal. If Celio Mera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Santana Torrente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Illan Alacuart was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
