Berbiz Pedraza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gillermo Solana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Gillermo Solana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Vallgorguina's Eli Bargas got control of the ball when Tipi Soto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berbiz Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Honorio Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallgorguina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gillermo Solana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berbiz Pedraza in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Bras Vidal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eli Bargas, 2-1. Gillermo Solana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berbiz Pedraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gillermo Solana having to interfere. If Honorio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
