In the 9th minute Xesus Morcego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Calatayud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiano Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constancio Helguera, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 14 played minutes El Albardinal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Espiridion Diez. Espiridion Diez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Maximiano Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Espiridion Diez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiano Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Calatayud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elixio Bellido in the 19th minute. Constancio Helguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Maximiano Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xesus Morcego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38thth minute of the game Espiridion Diez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Pinatell De Rojals's Maximiano Checa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Espiridion Diez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. El Albardinal AFC's Vicente Calatayud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save El Albardinal AFC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Xesus Morcego made the kick off in the second half. Maximiano Checa came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by El Albardinal AFC's Constancio Helguera. But to his dismay, Constancio Helguera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elixio Bellido in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Calatayud saved El Albardinal AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, El Pinatell De Rojals's Venceslás Buendia got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, El Pinatell De Rojals's Maximiano Checa got control of the ball when Constancio Helguera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Espiridion Diez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espiridion Diez in the 85th minute of play forced El Pinatell De Rojals's goalkeeper Maximiano Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Elixio Bellido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Pinatell De Rojals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
