Cogolludo UD's Sandro Folch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cogolludo UD from getting a goal against them. Euloxu Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sandro Folch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cogolludo UD's Sandro Folch got control of the ball when Euloxu Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Hibai Otero put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sandro Folch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymon Briso in the 31st minute of play forced Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC's goalkeeper Julio Clos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hibai Otero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. With his leg Sandro Folch managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC's Euloxu Ortiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 44 minutes into the match, Inge Diez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC's Julio Clos. Julio Clos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute Hibai Otero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Folch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

If Inge Diez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC's Victorio Lillo got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Porfirio Ponce De Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cogolludo UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Porfirio Ponce De Leon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Clos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nacho Baños fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
