In the 22nd minute Pepe Urbieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Zafrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Puerto Del Garruchal AFC's Karlo Quintanilla got a free kick in the 29th minute. Karlo Quintanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Alfaro having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Puerto Del Garruchal AFC's Paul Font seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paul Font the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Puerto Del Garruchal AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paul Font had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Puerto Del Garruchal AFC! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Cabanyes FC. Mariano Fabelo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving César Zafrilla. 1-1. Ciriaco Alfaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Torrent, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Pepe Urbieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. César Zafrilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 52 played minutes Cabanyes FC got a freekick which was hit by Amuruza Odín. In the 53rd minute Elisardo Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Alfaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Acarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Alfaro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gamus Acarreta during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Cabanyes FC got a freekick which was hit by Gamus Acarreta. 57 minutes into the game, one of Cabanyes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Cabanyes FC's zone, Lisandro Acarreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Alfaro came out of the goal and Lisandro Acarreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Alfaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenech Izquierdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Lisandro Acarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Torrent during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Puerto Del Garruchal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Torrent to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Puerto Del Garruchal AFC's goalkeeper César Zafrilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepe Urbieta. Ciriaco Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Acarreta in the 80th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cabanyes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Puerto Del Garruchal AFC.
