The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Las Parras De Martin booed when Puerto Del Garruchal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joselito Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Torrent charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Torrent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Puerto Del Garruchal AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eustaquio Torrent hit a great ball. Bernal Marques was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Orlando Vazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlo Quintanilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisandro Acarreta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Morales having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Karlo Quintanilla put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Morales. Ricardo Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Acarreta in the 44th minute of the match. Karlo Quintanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Morales having to interfere. Macabeo Taules hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Puerto Del Garruchal AFC's Elisardo Salazar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Puerto Del Garruchal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Josu Ortiz came free, but César Zafrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Las Parras De Martin's goalkeeper Ricardo Morales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Acarreta. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josu Ortiz in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Zafrilla saved Puerto Del Garruchal AFC from getting behind. If Karlo Quintanilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Morales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Acarreta went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute, Xalo Lara had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Joselito Montero's late challenge caught a Las Parras De Martin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joselito Montero helped the player get up and apologised. The Las Parras De Martin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Puerto Del Garruchal AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Puerto Del Garruchal AFC.
