Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guillen Valerón started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Arkaia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ladra to maneuver through the defense. If Florian Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constancio Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Macedonio Canyelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Arkaia AFC booed when Almería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresenciano Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkaia AFC's Nagoi Olmos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Almería. Almería's Macedonio Canyelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillen Valerón in the 20th minute of play. Macedonio Canyelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillen Valerón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Almería got a freekick which was hit by Cresenciano Gil. Florian Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xaime Cabada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Reyes ran back to his position shaking his head. Xaime Cabada came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Almería's Florian Reyes. But to his dismay, Florian Reyes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 39th play minute Constancio Ortega came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Macedonio Canyelles. 2-1. Ursino Solo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaime Cabada having to interfere. Florian Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florian Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaime Cabada having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Reyes to make the kick off. A collision led to Arkaia AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leizarraga Alcalde hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Cornelio Batuecas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arkaia AFC's Xaime Cabada didn't even have to move. When Tobias Ladra fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arkaia AFC's protests and gave Tobias Ladra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Arkaia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ladra to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Constancio Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arkaia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constancio Ortega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Almería's Macedonio Canyelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constancio Ortega in the 61st minute of play. When Arkaia AFC's Guillen Valerón in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almería's goalie prevented a goal. Guillen Valerón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constancio Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constancio Ortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macedonio Canyelles having to interfere. Ursino Solo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Xaime Cabada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ursino Solo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Almería's Cresenciano Gil got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Angelino Pedriza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arkaia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Pedriza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Macedonio Canyelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ursino Solo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Xaime Cabada made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arkaia AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Almería had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
