With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natxo Veloso in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose-Juan Losantos saved Tortosa FC from getting behind. Cortijillos's Frutos Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Cortijillos from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute of the match Enrique Gómez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose-Juan Losantos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Natxo Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jose-Juan Losantos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonsalve Higuera's late challenge caught a Cortijillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonsalve Higuera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tortosa FC's Gonsalve Higuera got a free kick in the 25th minute. Cortijillos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Aureo Bermejo scored to the left of an out of position Frutos Bueno, making the score, 1-0. In the 35th match minute, Cortijillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rios Naranjo to maneuver through the defense. If Santiago Saez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Hernandez made a kick off. If Natxo Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Octavio Hernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose-Juan Losantos. Octavio Hernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Santiago Saez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cortijillos's zone, Aureo Bermejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frutos Bueno came out of the goal and Aureo Bermejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd play minute Natxo Veloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jose-Juan Losantos. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Tortosa FC's Gonsalve Higuera got a free kick in the 81st minute. Aureo Bermejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frutos Bueno having to interfere. Frutos Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Saez in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cortijillos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
