When Zarando Tobias came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Carabanchel AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zarando Tobias couldn't finish the play. Ekain Aguado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Isidro Irureta made a huge save. Carabanchel AFC's Chan Benito got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carabanchel AFC's Xavier De Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Ortiz in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Carabanchel AFC defense, Federico Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier De Toro. The Carabanchel AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier De Toro should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Benito Urruti made the kick off in the second half. Luis-Antonio Japón hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Miraflor AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Urruti to maneuver through the defense. Benito Urruti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier De Toro having to interfere. Miraflor AFC's Isidro Irureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarando Tobias in the 67th minute of play. Víctor Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víctor Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Miraflor AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. After 76 minutes of play, Carabanchel AFC's Chan Benito made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Irureta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Urruti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier De Toro having to interfere. Isidro Irureta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chan Benito in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Carabanchel AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Federico Ortiz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Víctor March charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víctor March the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Miraflor AFC's Víctor March got a free kick in the 99th minute.
