Placido Rossello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Rossello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archibaldo Perpiñán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bernardo Zapico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Rossello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archibaldo Perpiñán, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Canyet De Mar's Placido Rossello got control of the ball when Bernardo Zapico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Archibaldo Perpiñán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Siurana FC's zone, Aiert Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frodo Zabalo came out of the goal and Aiert Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Venceslao Duran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canyet De Mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venceslao Duran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Canyet De Mar's Placido Rossello got control of the ball when Bernardo Zapico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aiert Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frodo Zabalo having to interfere. Jakes Herrero's late challenge caught a Canyet De Mar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakes Herrero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Siurana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakes Herrero to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Frodo Zabalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Duran in the 54th minute of play. Bernardo Zapico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bernardo Zapico came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Siurana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Zapico couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aiert Rubio got free with Frodo Zabalo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Archibaldo Perpiñán made a precise shot to the right of Placido Rossello. Canyet De Mar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Frodo Zabalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Duran in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Monte Verdaguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canyet De Mar's goalkeeper Placido Rossello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bernardo Zapico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siurana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Zapico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Rossello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
