The supporters of Esnotz booed when Montgut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josete Torrent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Castulo Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Adrián Titos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Abrego hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eneko Cambero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute, Esnotz's Eneko Cambero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Montgut's zone, Eneko Cambero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víctor Bargas came out of the goal and Eneko Cambero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Montgut:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esnotz:s goal. Orlondo Jauregui shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Montgut getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Baltasar Aguado hit a great ball. Montgut's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ezker Jorquera 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Monte De la Torre to strike the kick off in the second half. If Monte De la Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hussein Quijana hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monte De la Torre in the 57th minute of play forced Esnotz's goalkeeper Adrián Titos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrián Titos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monte De la Torre in the 67th minute of the match. Aketza Bergada charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aketza Bergada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aketza Bergada hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Orlondo Jauregui, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Monte De la Torre struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Adrián Titos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montgut. After 80 played minutes Esnotz got a freekick which was hit by Hussein Quijana. Monte De la Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrián Titos having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Hussein Quijana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esnotz and the Montgut players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Hussein Quijana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Castulo Alonso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Monte De la Torre struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Adrián Titos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montgut. Montgut's Castulo Alonso got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Monte De la Torre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrián Titos. That made the score 2-1 in the 98 minute of play. Many of Montgut's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Montgut may have spent more time on the ball, but Esnotz were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
