Quique Balboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Asteri Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Vidal having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asteri Suarez in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Vidal saved Cas Catala UD from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Cas Catala UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llorian Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senen Palomares in the 23rd minute of play. Romeo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senen Palomares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Senen Palomares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Gentza Mudarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quique Balboa having to interfere. Caitano Montero charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caitano Montero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cas Catala UD booed when Colonia Güell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caitano Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cas Catala UD's Gentza Mudarra in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colonia Güell's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Senen Palomares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Demario Orbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asteri Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Falo Serena was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colonia Güell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Cas Catala UD. Alonso Patiño stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Quique Balboa. 2-1. Bruno Verdeja charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Verdeja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute Bruno Verdeja suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 73 minutes into the game, Sergi Bermejo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colonia Güell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cas Catala UD the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Colonia Güell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergi Bermejo to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Asteri Suarez made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Vidal. Cas Catala UD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Asteri Suarez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Romeo Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonia Güell. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurino Ocaña couldn't finish the play. Eder Castaño kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Cas Catala UD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Colonia Güell were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
