Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Germán Tobia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ariel Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorka Viejo in the 6th minute of play. If Gorka Viejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 9 minutes, Andrés-Fernando Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Embid De Ariza UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrés-Fernando Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorka Viejo in the 9th minute of the match. Embid De Ariza UD's Andrés-Fernando Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Jaén AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Reynaldo Fresnos hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Natal Valcarcel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ariel Paredes skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th minute Andrés-Fernando Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jaén AFC's zone, Gorka Viejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Paredes came out of the goal and Gorka Viejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariel Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorka Viejo in the 30th minute of play. Severiano Teruel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Amancio Camarasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Jaén AFC's Germán Tobia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Camarasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Germán Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés-Fernando Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Camarasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Tobia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Andrés-Fernando Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germán Tobia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Camarasa saved Embid De Ariza UD from getting behind. When Embid De Ariza UD's Gorka Viejo in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaén AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ariel Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorka Viejo in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Jaén AFC booed when Embid De Ariza UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Solera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Camarasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germán Tobia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Embid De Ariza UD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
