In the 6th minute Xamo Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Cacheres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Isla De León FC's goal looked a bit too open when Espartaco Belalcaraz came free, but Mohamed Cacheres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Estrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curro Gene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rio Estrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosalejo's Abejundio Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Barba in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Iyan Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosalejo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isla De León FC the free kick. Vincent Barba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abejundio Navas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Isla De León FC's Gorosti Navas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abejundio Navas but with some difficulty. When Rio Estrada came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Rosalejo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rio Estrada couldn't finish the play. Rio Estrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espartaco Belalcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Vergaray Roca made a precise shot to the right of Abejundio Navas. Rosalejo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Vincent Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Abejundio Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Estrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 91 in the game by Espartaco Belalcaraz from a close distance when the talented Mohamed Cacheres managed to make a qualified save. Isla De León FC's players were relieved. In the 95th minute, Rosalejo's Rio Estrada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mohamed Cacheres. Mohamed Cacheres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Despite being the better team, Rosalejo failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
