Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fidel Sevilla got the match started through his kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Fernando Verdaguer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucila Sierra. Fernando Verdaguer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Monte Alcedo FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fidel Sevilla hit a great ball. Pau Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeo Tobia scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikola Manrique, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Verdaguer to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Gero Otero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Ginés FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Alcedo FC the free kick. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Monte Alcedo FC's Brais Verdaguer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nikola Manrique. When Fernando Verdaguer came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the San Ginés FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Verdaguer couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Monte Alcedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrés-Fernando Garate. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Fernando Verdaguer managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Ginés FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Verdaguer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucila Sierra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monte Alcedo FC's Lucila Sierra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pau Madariaga in the 65th minute of play. Fidel Sevilla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 68th minute, Tadeo Tobia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucila Sierra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Verdaguer in the 73rd minute of the match. When Reimundo Carrasco fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Ginés FC's protests and gave Reimundo Carrasco a yellow card for diving instead. Reimundo Carrasco kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. During the 92nd minute of the match Gero Otero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gero Otero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 91 minutes into the game, one of San Ginés FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Nikola Manrique, was totally fooled by Monte Alcedo FC's Brais Verdaguer, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Monte Alcedo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
