Jacques Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Colon Irureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Colon Irureta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tito Huerta. Carballeda SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Colon Irureta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Teodoro Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peri Darroja scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferman Cabezas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colon Irureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tito Huerta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, El Comercio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegoi Vila to maneuver through the defense. El Comercio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carballeda SD the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelayo Toledo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, El Comercio FC's goalkeeper Ferman Cabezas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Ferrer. Colon Irureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tito Huerta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacques Ferrer during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Carballeda SD got a freekick which was hit by Jacques Ferrer. After a defensive mix-up in Carballeda SD's zone, Colon Irureta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tito Huerta came out of the goal and Colon Irureta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pelayo Toledo scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tito Huerta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colon Irureta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Huerta having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Pelayo Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Comercio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Tito Huerta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colon Irureta in the 73rd minute of play. After 82 minutes, Fernando Mayol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Comercio FC and the Carballeda SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Fernando Mayol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, El Comercio FC's Ferman Cabezas got control of the ball when Teodoro Ferrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Carballeda SD getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jacques Ferrer hit a great ball. El Comercio FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
