In the 13th match minute, Barrina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Saura to maneuver through the defense. Malvin Mondejar hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Calisto Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xacintu Munoz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute, Eduardo Castillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilagrassa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eduardo Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Grau to make the kick off. The coaching staff of Barrina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arias Rienda had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 59 minutes into the game, one of Barrina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barrina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! After 70 minutes Barrina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xuaco Cacheres who took care of the corner kick. When Ricardo Saura came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Barrina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Saura couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Malvin Mondejar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilagrassa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrina the free kick. After 74 played minutes Vilagrassa FC got a freekick which was hit by Malvin Mondejar. After a rather tough play, Barrina's Ricardo Saura got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Eduardo Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilagrassa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliverio Castillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eduardo Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Barrina's Ricardo Saura got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Xacintu Munoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrina's Oliverio Castillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Xacintu Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Vilagrassa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malvin Mondejar to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Calisto Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Quintas. Vilagrassa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calisto Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 104 minutes into the game, Malvin Mondejar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Oliverio Castillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Vilagrassa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vilagrassa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
