Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constancio Climent made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Aquiles Canyelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corteconcepcion FC and the Puente Tocinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabino Nueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelmiro Treviño having to interfere. Patxi Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes, Corteconcepcion FC's Tonete Azofra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gelmiro Treviño came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corteconcepcion FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patxi Tormes in the 87th minute of play forced Puente Tocinos's goalkeeper Gelmiro Treviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Patxi Tormes came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Corteconcepcion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patxi Tormes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Corteconcepcion FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Cesareo Marques hit a great ball.
