Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Camacho started the match with the kick off. Ascencio Losada hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Francisco Castelao charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Castelao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jaén fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 11th match minute, Jaén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quique Vazquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Quique Vazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Torrealta FC booed when Jaén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oier Folch didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Vazquez in the 25th minute of play forced Torrealta FC's goalkeeper Emilio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Lopez de Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Lopez de Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Honorato Lopez de Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Castelao was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Quique Vazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Lara having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Jaén's Quique Vazquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Jaén's Elisardo Lermo got control of the ball when Calvino Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Omar Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elisardo Lermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Camacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Elisardo Lermo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quique Vazquez to strike the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Jaén's Francisco Castelao tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Jaén booed when Torrealta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Lopez de Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Torrealta FC's Honorato Lopez de Toro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Emilio Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zabulón Romero in the 60th minute. When Zabulón Romero came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Jaén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zabulón Romero couldn't finish the play. Omar Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quique Vazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaén's Elisardo Lermo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvino Abascal in the 83rd minute of play. Elisardo Lermo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Camacho in the 85th minute of the match. Elisardo Lermo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Camacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 93 minutes, Omar Camacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrealta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Camacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jaén had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
