After 12 played minutes, Martorell De La Selva's Modesto Palomares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tipi Murcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Martorell De La Selva reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Pinilla's goal looked a bit too open when Ramone Cordoba came free, but Tipi Murcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Juan-Luis Darroja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martorell De La Selva the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pinilla's Juan-Luis Darroja got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Sancho Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sancho Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tipi Murcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sancho Ortiz in the 26th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramone Cordoba made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ramone Cordoba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martorell De La Selva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 56 played minutes Pinilla got a freekick which was hit by Ion Vazquez. After a rather tough play, Martorell De La Selva's Serafo Reyes got a free kick in the 61st minute. Sancho Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tipi Murcia having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Martorell De La Selva's goalkeeper Goren Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Suarez. Goren Vazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Suarez in the 74th minute. Melquiades Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goren Vazquez having to interfere.
