Asdrubal Sarrate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beila Tormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Asdrubal Sarrate came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Massalfassar's Guillen Harroyo. But to his dismay, Guillen Harroyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Beila Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Dulce charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Dulce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celso Dulce kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Beila Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Massalfassar's zone, Gerard Gomar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xofre Litago came out of the goal and Gerard Gomar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xofre Litago made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Gerard Gomar sent off a good shot on target. Celso Dulce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Gomar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Xofre Litago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilajuïga FC. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Oliviero Abascal put in a rough tackle. 36 minutes into the game, one of Massalfassar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Celso Dulce came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Vilajuïga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Dulce couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Celso Dulce made the kick off in the second half. Beila Tormes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asdrubal Sarrate having to interfere. Xuan Climent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asdrubal Sarrate having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Dulce in the 58th minute of play forced Massalfassar's goalkeeper Xofre Litago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xofre Litago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard Gomar's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Celso Dulce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Xofre Litago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beila Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Asdrubal Sarrate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Gomar in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xofre Litago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerard Gomar struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Massalfassar's Xofre Litago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Dulce in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Felix Pareja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Asdrubal Sarrate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gerard Gomar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilajuïga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Gomar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xofre Litago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Pareja's late challenge caught a Vilajuïga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Pareja helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Massalfassar's Felix Pareja got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gerard Gomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asdrubal Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beila Tormes in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Massalfassar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
