Evangelista Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillen Harroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Beila Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beila Tormes might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evangelista Gómez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beila Tormes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Guillen Harroyo made a precise shot to the right of Evangelista Gómez. Tavernes Blanques's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Massalfassar's Xofre Litago got control of the ball when Mino Sarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guillen Harroyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Massalfassar's Beila Tormes got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mino Sarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Massalfassar got a freekick which was hit by Xuan Climent. Oliviero Abascal thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Xofre Litago, a very annoying self made goal in the 43rd minute which led to 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Massalfassar's zone, Ibon Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xofre Litago came out of the goal and Ibon Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Ibon Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Xofre Litago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, Tavernes Blanques's Ibon Figueroa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xofre Litago was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Tavernes Blanques getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dante Irureta hit a great ball. When Beila Tormes came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Massalfassar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beila Tormes couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Dante Irureta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Beila Tormes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tavernes Blanques's Evangelista Gómez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillen Harroyo in the 78th minute of play. Ibon Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Xofre Litago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Dante Irureta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tavernes Blanques and the Massalfassar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dante Irureta kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Massalfassar players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tavernes Blanques from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
