Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mohamed Alcalde started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Mohamed Alcalde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magdaleno De Pablo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Cacheres during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Córdoba AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Juan Cacheres hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Breixo Guasch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Córdoba AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mohamed Alcalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aquiles Cortes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breixo Guasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Magdaleno De Pablo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufio Diaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arbidel Vicente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Zapata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Valverde to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Aguado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magdaleno De Pablo. Zapata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Zapata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Córdoba AFC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Aquiles Cortes made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Zapata's zone, Breixo Guasch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magdaleno De Pablo came out of the goal and Breixo Guasch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Rufio Diaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arbidel Vicente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 70th minute Simon Unzueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arbidel Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breixo Guasch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Magdaleno De Pablo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mohamed Alcalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Magdaleno De Pablo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Zapata got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Salan. In the 92nd match minute, Córdoba AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Aguado to maneuver through the defense. Aquiles Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arbidel Vicente having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Córdoba AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
