Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Córdoba AFC's Mohamed Alcalde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Breixo Guasch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Funes AFC's zone, Breixo Guasch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Novo came out of the goal and Breixo Guasch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Funes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Alcalde came free, but Mateo Novo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Cris Azofra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Breixo Guasch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mateo Novo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Breixo Guasch in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mateo Novo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Córdoba AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvar Aguado in the 14th minute. Mohamed Alcalde was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Giraldo Santos scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arbidel Vicente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mohamed Alcalde struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mateo Novo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Córdoba AFC. When Gerard Montiel fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funes AFC's protests and gave Gerard Montiel a yellow card for diving instead. Gerard Montiel hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mohamed Alcalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mateo Novo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Funes AFC's Francesco Abril got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute Giraldo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arbidel Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giraldo Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arbidel Vicente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Funes AFC booed when Córdoba AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pitin Jareño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ugaitz Vagrande was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerard Montiel made a kick off. Plauto Bravo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Mateo Novo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Alcalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Plauto Bravo during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ugaitz Vagrande was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mohamed Alcalde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Novo having to make a save. When Breixo Guasch fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 70thth minute of the game Mohamed Alcalde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Funes AFC's Mateo Novo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francesco Abril hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Córdoba AFC's Alvar Aguado tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Córdoba AFC's Breixo Guasch made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Novo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 78 played minutes Córdoba AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Cacheres. Gerard Montiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Beturian Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Córdoba AFC fully deserved thier win.
