Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zarando Arratia made the kick off and thus started the match. El Grao FC's Iago Zubiaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salbatore Valerón in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Monte Claro AFC booed when El Grao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inautzi Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Babia during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monte Claro AFC's Joaquin Babia got a free kick in the 15th minute. Michel Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estebano Molina in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Monte Claro AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Prospero Bouzon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Zarando Arratia managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Grao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zarando Arratia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salbatore Valerón took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iago Zubiaga. Iago Zubiaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Iago Zubiaga was a little too slow when Salbatore Valerón got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Zarando Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estebano Molina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salbatore Valerón to strike the kick off in the second half. Salbatore Valerón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Estebano Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Grao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Estebano Molina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Estebano Molina got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Estebano Molina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Michel Ramos made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zarando Arratia in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Ramos saved Monte Claro AFC from getting behind. If Estebano Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan-Carlos Paz hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estebano Molina got free with Michel Ramos in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Estebano Molina fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zarando Arratia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Ramos having to make a save.
