Xamin Garay hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Alcolea's Bautista Cabada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iago Zubiaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Estebano Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zarando Arratia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eloy Amer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, one of Alcolea:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcolea. In the 33rd minute of the match, Zarando Arratia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eloy Amer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute Quintan Baeza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iago Zubiaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th of the match, Zarando Arratia tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Eloy Amer got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Quintan Baeza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iago Zubiaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bautista Cabada, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Alcolea's Quintan Baeza got a free kick in the 47th minute.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bautista Cabada in the 55th minute of play forced El Grao FC's goalkeeper Iago Zubiaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Bautista Cabada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcolea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bautista Cabada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Grao FC's Iago Zubiaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Cabada in the 61st minute of play. Iago Zubiaga was a little too slow when Bautista Cabada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. If Bautista Cabada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes El Grao FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Escobar. Quintan Baeza came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iago Zubiaga could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Alcolea's zone, Zarando Arratia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Amer came out of the goal and Zarando Arratia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Quintan Baeza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, El Grao FC's Estebano Molina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Amer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Estebano Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Grao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Estebano Molina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes Alcolea got a freekick which was hit by Heliodoro Irureta. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alcolea eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
