An unexpectedly hard shot by Salbatore Valerón in the 3rd minute of play forced Llanuces CD's goalkeeper Godfredo Maroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anaya Quintana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Ramos. Monte Claro AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Monte Claro AFC's Michel Ramos got control of the ball when Madaleno Ocaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godfredo Maroto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleón Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Salbatore Valerón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20thth minute of the game Napoleón Nadal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llanuces CD's Godfredo Maroto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Napoleón Nadal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Maroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salbatore Valerón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Maroto having to make a save. In the 29th minute, Napoleón Nadal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Salbatore Valerón sped through Llanuces CD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Godfredo Maroto. A collision led to Monte Claro AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cai Segura hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Flores in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Madaleno Ocaña notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Monte Claro AFC's Michel Ramos. Michel Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saturnino Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Ramos having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Flores to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Saturnino Flores made a precise shot to the right of Michel Ramos. Monte Claro AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Saturnino Flores came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Llanuces CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Flores couldn't finish the play. If Saturnino Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Monte Claro AFC's Leopoldo Astudillo got a free kick in the 69th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Madaleno Ocaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llanuces CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Madaleno Ocaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Flores scored 3-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Napoleón Nadal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Godfredo Maroto made a huge save. With a little luck, Llanuces CD's Godfredo Maroto got control of the ball when Napoleón Nadal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 98 played minutes Monte Claro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Carlos Paz. 99 minutes into the match, Monte Claro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Madaleno Ocaña came free, but Michel Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 99th minute, Madaleno Ocaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llanuces CD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
