The supporters of Molnars AFC booed when Molinos Marfagones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariando Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xose Castaño charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xose Castaño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. During the 7th minute of the match Xose Castaño completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xose Castaño a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A very good chance for a goal. Rosalio Vicente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viviano Barro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Molnars AFC's goalkeeper Quintan Clos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quintan Clos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Zamora in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fabián Zapatero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Siro Vega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Molnars AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabián Zapatero came free, but Quintan Clos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabián Zapatero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Quintan Clos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintan Clos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Zamora in the 68th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Molnars AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cisco Martin to maneuver through the defense. When Fabián Zapatero came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Molinos Marfagones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabián Zapatero couldn't finish the play. Lauro Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintan Clos having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Molnars AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dacio Ucero. Rosalio Vicente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Viviano Barro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rosalio Vicente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Molinos Marfagones's zone, Abad Pastor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosalio Vicente came out of the goal and Abad Pastor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
