The supporters of Beniarbeig booed when Serrato AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beniarbeig reached it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Baños made a kick off. If Marcial Baños had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Argider Gomar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beniarbeig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Teruel in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blanco Sacristán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jorge Verges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Verges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Anacleto Teruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blanco Sacristán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Teruel in the 75th minute of the match. Nicholas Nobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Verges in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Teruel in the 80th minute of play forced Serrato AFC's goalkeeper Blanco Sacristán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Serrato AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mergildo Alavedra to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Baños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Serrato AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Beniarbeig from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
