Mambru Canturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanco Sacristán having to interfere. Marcial Baños might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blasi Bellido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Baños ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medero Alvarez in the 12th minute of play forced Serrato AFC's goalkeeper Blanco Sacristán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blasi Bellido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Verges in the 20th minute. Mambru Canturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanco Sacristán having to interfere. In the 29th minute Marcial Baños shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blasi Bellido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Medero Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Fé De Los Boliches's goalkeeper Blasi Bellido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Santa Fé De Los Boliches's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Baños came free, but Blasi Bellido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Medero Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mambru Canturri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Fé De Los Boliches fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Santa Fé De Los Boliches booed when Serrato AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santa Fé De Los Boliches's Blasi Bellido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Baños in the 58th minute of play. Blanco Sacristán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medero Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Santa Fé De Los Boliches's Mambru Canturri got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blanco Sacristán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mambru Canturri in the 81st minute. Mambru Canturri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Blanco Sacristán skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mambru Canturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Blanco Sacristán made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, Jacinto Treviño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serrato AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Fé De Los Boliches the free kick. A collision led to Serrato AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jacinto Treviño hit a great ball. When Marcial Baños came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Serrato AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Baños couldn't finish the play. Jorge Verges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blasi Bellido having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
