When Gerardo Guijarro fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Llivia AFC's protests and gave Gerardo Guijarro a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Ortiz made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Llivia AFC's Reynaldo Cortes got a free kick in the 57th minute. Michael Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Zapatero in the 62nd minute of the match. Telmo Zapatero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Hernandez having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Apoena Parra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Plantio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llivia AFC the free kick. Marco-Antonio Negro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ortiz in the 79th minute of the match. If Hector Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Navarro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco-Antonio Negro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Hector Ortiz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marco-Antonio Negro, passed just outside the right post. Telmo Zapatero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Michael Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
